Truck\'s almost undriveable?

The short version is my truck idles irratic when warm and it stalls out while driving. It takes a few tries to get restarted but I have to hold the gas pedal to the floor. Also today after restarting it was idling at 1800 rpm's. I'm out of ideas, I've replaced almost everything except ignition, computer and MAP sensor. Anyone have any thoughts?

Here's a list of everything I've replaced in the last 3 months:

- Rebuilt top half of engine
- TPS Sensor
- IAC sensor
- Oxygen sensor
- Spark plugs, wires, rotor & cap
- Temperature sensor
- Fan switch/sensor
- Fuel & intake filters
- checked vacuum lines
- checked timing
- checked fuel pressure regulator

HELP!

Re: Truck\'s almost undriveable?

I checked visually all the lines and with propane torch along the areas in question. I also I forgot to mention its a '91 TBI 350. Thanks.

Re: Truck\'s almost undriveable?

we had a similar problem on a 2.8 corsica.
it was the computer. a lot of people unjustly blame the comp... we really didnt think it was the problem. it was.
reman was 65 dollars

Re: Truck\'s almost undriveable?

i had the same issue with my 1987 and i found my little Gremlin was the EGR valve was sticking bad, so i took a little sharp object and punctured it, "it worked alot better and long enough to get a replacement" for it.

kinda weird but then again it happened to me hehe

hope this helps
