Just watched today's episode. Stace is doing a truck that I just would love to have, a mid to late 40s Dodge Power Wagon.

Plus he's puttin 49" IROKs on it too. Damn those are some big ass tires. /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif

And rear steering. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I can't wait to see this one finished. /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

I wonder what power plant he's planning to put in. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

The axles were worked over by USA6x6. /forums/images/graemlins/ignore.gif

yea i just watched that too, that is gona be a bad ass truck!, when the pulled the bed out i saw the wheel wells and i was like wow that stupid looking, then he broke out the 49 inch irok and i was like /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif, this rig is gona be something fierce, 2 1/2 ton rockwells /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

I watched that too... rear steer, rockwells, 49" IROKS, hydro steering front and rear... /forums/images/graemlins/bow.gif

stacey said the IROCKS were the biggest DOT tires you could get,i thought the52in michelins were???? /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

Michelins were used by the military they are D.O.T. approved as far as I know. For the same reason Hummer beadlocks are, cause they military said so.

/forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gifthe military said so LOL /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

The military does not have to abide by DOT regulations, because they are the military/government, they only answer to themselves.

yeah, kinda like saying i can own an automatic weapon because the military can. /forums/images/graemlins/histerical.gif

maybe if they debrief the 52in michs, they could go out to the civilian world. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gifto /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

Stace did qualify the statement by saying "not including the military version Michelins or farm version Firestones"
