I thought I had 6 inch blocks on my duramax. Was gonna order 4 inch blocks but measured first and mine are actually only 5 inch blocks.

I thought blocks came in even numbers like 2-4-6-8???

Is measuring from the top of the block to the bottom the true measurement or no?

Just trying to double check before I order the Wrong ones

not anymore on blocks .

lots of ifs lift are odd size not even and also good companys remove the stock 1" block and add there 4" + 1"( factory ) to make 5" block as to not stack blocks.

. The factory usually sets a truck about 2" taller in the rear than the front. Most lift kits seem to so away with that, making the truck a bit more level. A 6" lift would have a 4" or 5" rear lift, a 4" lift would only have a 2-3" rear lift.
