What is our opinion of these tires? These are the mud terrains, not the super duty lovers' all terrains. I am going to need new tires in a couple months and my 35 inch pro comps just aren't cutting it. My truck is a DD and it can get Icy here in the winter, I am thinking 37 or 38.5's, and my rims are 17 x 10. What kind of mileage can I expect, how bout performance? Any other suggestions.

I loved them! I had my first set for close to 60K miles on my daily driver F250 4x4. When they wore out, I bought another set and had them for about 33K miles when I sold the truck. There was still a lot of tread left too. Some have complained that they are a bit loud, but I really didn't notice. All I heard was my exhaust anyway. I'd definitely buy another set.

Are you talking about the Intraco TrXus MT's??

Bad news:
I have a set of 33's on my K5 that are 85% worn out after 20K miles. I rotate them every 5K miles. I will be happy if I make it thru the summer and 30K miles.
Also two of the tires are physically out of round causing a noticable shake. After a couple years im getting real tired of it.

Good News:
I was really impressed with their traction and off road performance in everything but soft sand. They will sink you in a minute.
On-road noise is very good. I can hear mine but its a sweet sound
Great wet/ice/snow traction.

Im giving some thought to the 35" SSR Radials myself

I'm really surprised to hear anyone complain about noise or wear.

I honestly can't tell you how many miles I've put on them but I know I'm very happy with the wear especially considering I have been irresponsible with rotating them and the rears don't show ANY scrubb even with the Detroit and a TON of on road use.

Rain, and Canadian winter? No probs at all, again not even with the Detroit on road.

Noise? Man they are so quiet I was worried about off road performance!

For what it's worth I'm running the 37's x 12.50" on 17" rims.

I don't notice the noise either. I've had mine for 2 years and 8k on em now..I love a short commute

I also have 2 out of round that caused a nasty shake.

Tread has been wearing evenly great traction in everything but ice but what MT does good on ice?

Descent tire but for my DD I'm going back to BFG

Are you talking about the Intraco TrXus MT's??

Yeah, they ballanced out really easily. I think even one of them took only a 1/4 ounce with no more than a full ounce for the most. I really didn't even rotate them very often and I had them on a Ford with their bullsh!t TTB front Dana 50. It's hard to see in the pic, but I had over 30K miles on these tires.

Sweet thanks. I think that I just might go with these.
