Sounds like a good deal to me, but i didnt' read the details. A couple snappy wrench sets will cost you $400, so i'd go for it. A good start anyways, just don't blow your whole tool budget on this, as im sure you will find things oyu still need.

That is a screaming deal. Just the first set of wrenches alone will cost almost that much. Have you actually made contact with the seller to find out if that is the correct price?

I just took a look on Snappy's website and a set of metric flank drive plus wrenches 10-19mm are $311.60
 
If you haven't bought these yet, you better hurry or they will be gone.

Yeah I`d jump on that. I bought 3 boxes with tools for $400, last year, I made about $2K, and kept a bunch of stuff. Used brand name stuff is the way to go, they work the same, and have the same warr.
 
The only thing I'm hesitant about it that there's no way for me to warranty the used snap-on stuff. I don't work at a shop, and I'm not the original owner (snap on direct told me that they won't warranty tools unless you're the original owner). I've heard of people being able to warranty the tools if they have a snap on dealer with an account that they've spent some cash on. I realize that it's a good deal non-the less because of the quality of the tools, and that in all likelihood I won't break them, but any one care to comment?
 
I have never had a Snap-on account but i have bought a bunch of Snap-on tools second hand from e-bay and have warrantied a tool a few times with no questions asked. Whoever told you they won't warranty tools except to the original purchaser doesn't know what they're talking about (Snap-on direct in your case). The tools in question are probably gone by now anyways so it really doesn't matter.
