Hey guys I havn't been on CK5 in a long time so I figured I say whats up. I made it to the top 50 and would really appreciate the votes if you think my truck is worthy. I'm #38 and my buddy is #4. Some of the info on the was forgotten or changed, so I figured I give you the specs.
It's an 87 M-1028 "K-30"
6.2 Diesel w/GM 8 turbo

Klune 2.7 to twin sticked 205
High angle shafts
14b 5.13 detroit
D60 5.13 detroit Yukon cromos and super joints
High stear Hydro assist w/PSC double ended ram
52" front springs
Haven't decided on the rear

42" rocks on 15X12 eaton locks, full exo w/tube flat bed, it dosn't have doors anymore.

I'd vote for you. I just want to see the truck, so I know what I am looking for..... plus I like pictures.

It looks like instead of wasting time on here you've been working on your rig?
 
I'm workin on pics, there's a pick in the four wheeler mag I'm #38 and my buddies #4, votes for both of us would be greatly appreciated.
Here lately me and my crew have been wheelin more than workin on em, It kinda sucks because I have mine torn appart and don't feel like workin on it. Oh well I get it done

thats crazy, thats almost the exact setup im going to be running (m1008, 6.2 with gm8 turbo, doubler, H1's on 42iroks). how did you get in there? submit a pic or something? can you get some pics under the hood? ive got my gm8 turbo setup and wana get an idea on how it all hooks up. how hard was it to put on? hows the power with it? street legal?
 
hows the power compared to without the turbo? does it shoot a ton of black smoke now?
 
It was pretty easy to put on, had to lift the motor a little to get it in there but no big deal. The upper intake that came with mine wouldn't fit the factory lower intake, the setup I bought came with everything including the newer style lower I turned the pump up, hooked up the oil pressure and renturn (welded a fitting in the oil pan) and installed a Heath diesel mechanical waste gate I'm pushin 10 lbs and it easily double my power, no longer thinkin of a motor swap. Make sure you put the crank case vent BEFORE the turbo, I put it after and pressurized the crankcase and spit out the oil pan gasket and rear main.
If you need help I'd gladly guide you through it, but all in all its a pretty easy job.

At first it smoked ALOT because I cranked the crap out of the pump, but now that I'm runnin more boost it dosn't smoke too bad.
 
i was hoping it would shoot lots black clouds haha. thanks for the info. glad someone else has sucessfully put a gm8 on a 6.2

Nice truck. I dig the exo. I'll vote for ya if I still have time to send in my votes... I have been lazy. Honestly, I wasn't going to vote for your truck originally, but now that ive seen more pics, I like it. Thats what sux; there arn't enough pics/specs in the mags to make a good decision. You're gonna have to do something about that air intake though if you get voted in.

ps. I love the exo that turns into your rear bed. Melds into one another really well.
