Anyone done this? 44" tall 12" wide Michelin XMLs. 56" front springs, axle in roughly stock position. Tires hit the floor where your feet are at full stuff/turn. Anyone ever "tubbed" this area?

I was thinking about taking the wheels/tires off with it up on the lift and going after it with a sledge, but I worry about messing up the fuse block.

I might bolt some UHMW plastic on there and let 'em rub....

this is some highly effective camo!

As far as the body/tire contact goes... how about just moving your body mounts / body back a few inches. Based on the pic, it looks like the rear tires would still be fine, so long as you didn't go back to far.

Other more-fun option would be to go truggy. :thumb:

ive kinda tubbed the firewall i dunno if you saw it or not?? just basically cut the big bulge where the heater core was and made a flat plate and welded it up on the d/s you might have to relocate the wiring but i didnt have to on mine
