tube bender for roll cage/bumpers

I wouldn't buy anything from that guy if he's try to make you think that tube kinker (easily obtainable from harbor Freight for around $100) is worth a $400!

While not the best way of bending tube, it can be done. I used the HF model to bend HREW 1.75" tube into 90 degree bends with virtually no deformation what so ever. Some of the tricks to getting this done include sleeving the tube where it rides on the rollers, and using lots of WD40 or silicone spray to ensure that the tube forms around the die. Definitely not as nice as a JD2 and the like, but it will get the job done. It will just take longer.
