Ok so I twisted my crossmember up on the rocks the other day. My trans and transfer case are being rebuilt right now. I think $1000 for parts and labor for total overhauls on both and the updated 3rd gear on the trans is a goddamn good deal!
But anywho I wanna build a tube crossmember to replace my old one using the 2x3in box tubing I have left over. When the stuff gets back I'm going to clock the Tcase up one notch on the clocking ring from diy4x so the most mild amount. I'm wondering if I need to notch for the front driveshaft or if clocking it will allow me to use a flat crossmember with nothing but a drop for the trans mount.
I was about to go out there and make one with just the mount dip and said hey wait a sec. I've got not drivetrain and no pictures to reference.
Does anyone have some shots of how the tcase sits with it clocked 1 notch?
