Tube Door Question?

I talked to the boys down at Blazen Offroad.. Things are backed up and it wont be for another week until i get my tube doors (at least).. Its cool though..They were straight up with me and we chatted... So i just might buy from them again....

pics will come after i promise

Things have been backed up at the shop since our little rubicon adventure. Soaked up a week of shop time.

Anyways thanks for being patient we will get those doors out early this week.

We will post up some spy pics for you too!

Why not weld a tube to the tube doors generally in the postition of the window frame (like in Hossbaby's post), and then cut out some 1/4" acrylic or polycarbonate in a "door" shape and attach it to the outside of your tube door with some 1/4 turn Dzus-type fasteners?

You could even run some weather stripping around the perimeter of the plastic (although it still wouldn't seal very well). Then you would only have 6-8 fasteners per 5lb "door" to go from tube mode to keep-the-snow-out mode. I was thinking about doing something like that, but probably won't get to it in the next decade:doah:

Just move down to the death valley area with me. we've had less than a half inch of rain this year and its 80-120 degrees outside each day!

Those doors are sick!!! cant wait top get them on the truck..Im comming up with a plexiglass/soft door design for the doors so i dont have to take them off in the winter... (expected arrival date 9/27)

Do these doors rust quick if there not painted up? Im gunna throw some olive drab green or flat black on them if they come bare...

As far as the heater..Its not going to happen..the old heater box is mangled and isnt of much use and I am actually going to put an aftermarket heater in that is external of the dash board

Id love to move out of Mass ..(state law says nothing over 4" lift (8600-10,000 pound vehicles)--so im in trouble)

Got my doors in!!!! Got them on the truck in a black primer... Pics to come!!!! Im in love with these things already.. OLD DOORS EAT YOUR HEART OUT!! lol
