How many guys run tube doors and topless in the summer around town?

Im kind of thinking about it make quick connects for my power windows and locks for when I want to throw my doors on quick.

I live out in the sticks so Im not worried about my stereo getting stolen.

I run them all summer long, steering wheel is removable, stero face is removable, I have a lockable pick-up truck box in the back and I just finished my 14 guage console, have a lockable glove box just add a back pack to carry the steering wheel and its all good, and the wires all have quick connects

Kenwood makes a nice detac face deck that is what i do and thats about all i can the alarm doesnt cover movement just shock

I ran doorless and topless quite a bit In New mexico not sure what your local laws are though

I usually run topless & doorless all summer. Sometimes Johnny Law looks at me cross-eyed, but not often. I have been considering building some tube doors thouogh.

I'm wondering what the legalities are on the tube doors, or no doors for that matter. I'd really like to run tube doors from march-october, but I guess I'd have to ditch my carpet. Those that run topless/doorless, you keep the carpet in? I guess it would dry up easy enough with the doors off...just put some drain holes in it, should be fine.

the carpet would dry but its going to mildew and get nasty after time, i would ditch it

I have carpet in mine, in fact it's pretty plush. I cover the blazer at night then leave it partway off in the day in case it needs to air out. But it is not my DD and I am in So Cal, not much rain at the moment. I plan on ripping out the carpet in the future when it comes time to do the cagework.

subscribed...anybody find threads on makin quick connects for the door elec's??? i tried searchin but my computer keeps actin up...

I have some I'm running and I like it I took all the Carpet and headliner out and amd starting stages of Bed Liner (self dun) Not as loud as I thought, but I am hearing some stuff underneath I didnt want to hear. lol

I think the only legal issue with no doors is the lack of mirrors. I have a spare set of mirrors for when I get tube doors.

There are more legal issues than just the Mirrors. Lots of states have a law about vehicles without doors having a lip on the door opening that is at least 2 inches tall. Think about how a jeep tub is made. You have to step over the lip that is under the door to get in.
