I know this has been posted a million time but search no worky
Who sells tube doors?
4x4iron has a link for them, but it's been like that for a while so I don't no the scoop on them /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif
ORD has some in the works. a couple of us have been tossing around the idea of a group buy once they get them complete and ready to start production. check out the ORD forum and post up if your interested i'm watching and will be sending out PM's to those interested to find out how serious everyone is, and waiting on Stephen for more info on when they will be available and price and so on. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I'm writing an article on making them for ORC, should be up on May
I am currently working on a design that will not need anything more than a 110V welder, chopsaw (or good hand at a grinder) and about 10ft of tube. It will be up here in a few weeks.
Don't go crucifying me, my CK5 friends
Let me know what you come up with
Let me know I would like to get in on the group buy.
Maybe we can get them a little cheaper that way. Keep me in the loop. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
just post up in the ORD forum under tube doors and i'll let you know what is happening as it progresses /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
I don't care for the 4x4iron design. I don't like replacing the striker bolt. I want a design that let's me swap back and forth quickly beteen normal doors and the tube ones. He says his is fast, but it would sure be nice if the hinge would allow the door to slide up and off (when open) and just swap the doors that way!
Anyone make that?
I'm working on a kit to make half doors...your doors my kit
You can get a second set of door hinges and modify both sets to be pop on
