MIght actually be taking the top off and want to go with Tube Doors, I know DIY off road has some nice ones, but wondering about taking my doors off. I have fairly new bushings and had a body shop put the new pins in and they are tight. Is there tricks to getting the pins out or is there a way to just unbolt the door from the hinge and then just bolt the hinge to the tube door without removing the pin? Pics are always nice and helpful.

There is a write up on here about modified pins to make taking the doors on and off easier. I'm planning on trying it this summer .

The set I had were made to bolt to the hinges. So I left my pins and bushings intact. Just unbolted and unplugged the door, and bolted on the tube door.

I geuss I would do the removable pin mod , and go to the junkyard for the other hinge for the tube door , that way I could swap between factory doors and the tube doors at will, whenever it rains.

Be warned, that just because you do the removable door pin mod, doesn't mean your doors are going to come off and on like a jeeps. I did the mod and while it is easier to get the doors off it is still pretty much a 2 man job simply because our doors are heavy and bulky. Also the hinge pins can be hard to get out sometimes even after the mod. It is a whole lot of fun to have the doors off though.

Also consider the latch striker pin, not all work with the factory pin so no quick swap there.
