Here's a pic of one of the sliders I'm building. I am going to weld on some flair out things like steps. I think I'm gonna go 2" tube and angle it up a little but I'm not sure if it will look dumb with all the box tube I've been using on this thing. If I go 2" box it I don't think I have the skills to angle it up and make it loog good so it will have to be straight out = less clearence. What do you think?

I guess I should add a pic of the rear bumper to get an idea of all the square stuff.

If it goes out and up how will it clear the door and/or be useful as a step? Maybe I don't know what you're talking about.

Yea you know what I mean. I can only angle it a little due to the door. I don't care about a step, just a little more body and door protection. The idea for me is that it will hit it before higher up on the body or door. Actually I like the look now but want a little more protection.
