Tube slugs

for the life of me I can't find these anymore. I need to make a piece of DOM longer and I know I saw someone selling a slug that slides inside so you can weld 2 pieces together but can't find them now...Anyone know where I can find some?

why not just lop off a hunk of smaller tube size? i know 1.75 fits perfect inside 2" .120 wall.... i did it on 2 small tubes at the back of my cage...

1.75 would be a hunk of 1 5/8's i'm guessing/thinking/farting......

Yep just use spare tube you have.

I typically make the "plug" as long as I can reasonably make it and put at least two if not more rosette welds in it.

One more thing I tend to cut the smaller tube at an angle to spread out the possible forces
