Seen it on extreme4x4 I think it was. It does seem like the way to get the perfect notch.
need to order a 1.5" die, so I thought I might tack that on for my main 2" stuff...

Back when I did a lot of tube work that would have helped some times but slowed the process down others.
Now that I don't get to play with tubing that much it would probably help more of the time and hurt less.
You get to where you know what to do as far as cuts, grinding and fitting without ever touching a tape or pencil when you do enough tube work.

Work fantastic... got a 2" and 1 1/2"...1 3/4 falls between the two... the chop saw method still beats em all imho...
p.s. I will have a Pro-Tools 1 3/4 die... brand new avail soon...

think I'll go for the 2" spider...
since I'm not splurging to run software, printed wraps, etc... why not... little more oldschool feel to it.. thats how I've been doing it, little tape measure action, some quick marker work, chop saw, grinder, etc... haven't even fired up the notcher, I'll try that out this weekend hopefully if needed...
