soooo... bent nodes vs mitered nodes...
this is gonna be a discussion about advantages/disadvantages, and the science/thought behind each.... MCD1, go fast buggies, rock bouncers, crawlers, etc are all in the mix..
I'm familiar with both obviously, Mutt being heavily mitered, and my K5 being more "traditionally bent"....
some obvious advantages of a mitered node are, a tighter, more direct package and transfer of wreckdom...
I guess the big question is a failure rate of a radius bend/and welded tube opposed to the fitment, weld-process, etc of a multi-miter.. and where it works/fits/looks better..
I do have to say.. it was one of the funner aspects of Mutt's bed..
