Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions? Im thinking that i should put some kind of rubber bushing around the bolts thatll take some of the vibration out that will help. Is that a good thought and what should i use to cushion the bumps?
Mine does the same thing. Its mostly on recorded cds though.Store bought ones aren't nearly as bad. Also I put closed cell foam around the cd receiver mounting cage from underneath.
Kenwood, Ive had many kenwood CD players and almost no skips in the past. This one is mounted vertical in the console but the manuel says that the CD player can be mounted vert or horz.
Would my idea to put some kind of rubber between the bolts and body where the console mounts help any or not? Any other ideas?
When you put your CD player in your console did you attach the back of the Player to the console with the stud inside? The only way to reach it is to unbolt the console and turn it upside down and reach it from the bottom. It kinda sucks cause you have to sorta wire the unit before you bolt down the console. Just how I did mine and mine only skips when I drive too fast on a washboard road. Has never skipped other than that.
