OK, the K5 is getting a tune-up today. Before I go pick up the parts I just wanted to know what brand names you guys trust.

I will be getting:
Spark plugs
Spark plug wires
Distributor cap and rotor, points and condenser
Vacuum-advance and PCV valve
Fuel filter

Don't need names for everything, as some things will be generic (fuel filter), but things that you do have a preference on let me know what you use.
Thanks!

I have always used AC Delco stuff in all my rigs for years. They have never failed me yet /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I've used probley every other brand spark plugs and the AC Delco is what I always come back to. Accell for all the ignition stuff. Accell Super Coil, accell super wires 8mm wires, Accell cap and rotor. Dump in a can carb/ing cleaner that has tank conditioner (red STP bottle). Oil change with (I use valvoline max life 10w40 in the summer). Air cleaner I use to use fram, now I have a K&N filter. Can of spray carb cleaner. Turn the truck on and stray the carb/TBI unit get it all cleaned up while your at it. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Try AC-Delco plugs
# R45TS
They are a "hotter" plug.
Every store has them.

I prefer the following brands;

AC Delco or Standard Ignition (aka Blue Streak) for ignition related parts.

AC Delco or Wix for filter related items.
