I am having a hard time getting my pro flo system tuned right. I inherited this system when i got my new truck, so i am not too familiar with it. I have read all the manuals and tried calling the EDL folks, but they aren't very helpful so far.
The engine is a 454 60 over, i'm gonna have to look up the cam specs when i get home, compression is pry around 9:1 according to PO (runs on 87).
The PO had the global spark at like -16* so spark advance was around 20-22*, the EDL folks said that was too low and had me reset it to 0*. They said you don't really need to paly with the spark tables and to reset it to the base calibration (0* advance across the board), so i did that. now it runs around 34-37* advance.
At idle in park, i run rich, but at idle in drive i run lean (or vice versa if i make adjustments to suit idle/drive). Also at part throttle around 1-2K rpms and 14" or so of vacuum it runs really lean, and any adjustments I make to the fuel tables are not helping.
Is that too much spark? any idea on how to get my spark tables right? i can figure out the fuel i think, but spark has me lost.
thanks!

) IMO. Unfortunately I have no experience with that system, but the thoeries are the same...give the engine the timing it wants. Don't mask timing problems with fuel.
