I am thinking about putting a 241 behind a turbo 350 and before I buy everything, I was hoping someone could tell me if they will bolt up. My biggest question is are the tailshafts in 700 and a 350 the same length? If so, then would a pass drop 27 spline 241 case and adaptor bolt onto a 350? My 203 adaptor looks about half as thick as a 241 adaptor and makes me catious of buying an adaptor and case. Or if someone has put a 208 behind a 350 trans could they let me know if it was a bolt up affair.

First question, did the TH350 come from a 4X or 2X? The 2X tailcone gets tossed, but the output shaft needs to be shortened. A 4X TH350 will already be the right length. I had to shorten a 2X TH350, buy an Advance Adapters' adapter, to bolt up to a NP208. No driveshaft change. 1985 Burb.
Used to be two model # adapter kits from Advance; one with the shorter output shaft (2$), one without ($). Get the adapter kit without getting the shaft:haha: , and cut the one you have. To replace the output shaft, you'd have to disassemble the trans. Thats cool too if you want to overhaul it anyway.:D

The th350 I have is a 4x4 transmission. So if I understand you correctly, then a factory 700 adaptor will not work, but Advanced Adaptors makes one that will?

Advance makes the adapter. I was tossing a 700 4X trans to install the TH350, so yeah, I think thats the way to go. Maybe somemore CK5 bros can confirm.:D
