I'm trading a friend a sm 465-205 for his turbo 400-205. I haven't had a chance to measure the difference between the two. Will the drive shafts be different length and will the cross member be in a different location?

most likey the drive shaft and crossmember will change. i did a 700r4/208 to 465/205 and the cross member moved about 4", havent got to the drive shafts yet but their not even close

Why don't you trade the driveshafts and crossmembers too?

I just swaped out my th400 to a sm465/205 combo. I had to get differnt drive shafts and I had to drill 4 new holes for the cross member.
