turbo on 6.2

Never was a big fan of a 6.2,but since I have three with less than 60K on them I might as well use one in something.Who's done it,what'd ya use,what did ya get it off of,and how did it hold up.Pics and part numbers if available,Im too lazy to search for long.

I bought a truck with a Rednecked turbo on it. Power was very noticeable. Motor had over 257000 on it and eventually died. Althought I drove that truck with an extremely heavy foot, and ran it way low on oil the last trip I took with it. Motor still ran though.

If your motors only have 60,000 Id go for it, you will be much happier with the performance

One has 47k,the others have 49k and 60k.

I'm in Chattanooga. Are these engines installed or lying around? Would you part with one?
If you want to turbo this type engine, don't go over 8 psi boost. It already has 22:1 compression

Two are still in the M1008's I bought but have'nt been started since they have no starters,and the other is out of my M-1009.I might be in for a rude awakening but I cant think much is wrong with them with no more miles than they have on em. I would sell one pending getting it started.

All I know is the 6.2 in my 1008 is a slow dog.....of course I do love my big block sooo that could be part of it. You stand on it, its torquey for the first.....50ft.....then she falls on her face lol.

This is something to play in.I feel the need to build something else and dont have any good gas engines around so I figured I'd use one.I don't plan on doing any mud racing with it for sure.
