Turboed 6.2 diesel (ADDED PICS)

Its a GM goodwrench ATS turboed 6.2 diesel with around 60-70k miles. The Injector pump was recently rebuilt by Accurate Diesel. I put a new water pump, fan clutch, and fuel pump on it. I also had everything powder coated including the Valve covers, coolant crossover, and the accessory brackets, the intake(the turbo intake and the stock intake), the fan pulley and the oil pan. The exhaust manifolds were sandblasted and then coated with High temp POR 15. The turbo manifold was then wrapped with heat wrap. The crossover pipe runs in front of the oil pan and was also painted and wrapped. The turbo itself has very low miles. Maybe 5k. I replaced the Oil feed line with a braided stainless line. The motor starts and runs really good. It just doesnt like the low gears in my axles. I was asking $2000 for it. I will probably throw in the fuel cell I built. Its a 28 gallon aluminum tank that sits in the bed. Its around 65" wide, by 11" tall, and 10" deep. It has the holley style pickups on both ends so it never starves for fuel. I also have another Turbo Exhaust housing (thats included)that will spool up quicker and give you higher boost. The motor will also come with the pyrometer and boost gauge. The pyrometer is brand new and the boost gauge is the original ATS gauge.

Sounds like a good deal. You might want to link this from the diesel forum for a bigger audience. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

The starter is fairly new but, I can probably get it warrantied for new one for the hell of it so it will come with a new starter also. /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif

i wonder what shipping would be to CA .... /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gif u need an overdrive ? is that what u mean by it doesnt like the low gears ?

I have an overdrive but, I have 7.56 gears in the Unimog axles.

I would also take partial trade for some Aftermarket small block cylinder heads.

I can ask a buddy of mine that gets good deals on shipping about how much it would cost.

What kind of aftermarket cylinder heads? I have tons of crap to trade, just need to know exactly what you need.

I estimate the 170-180hp and 400-450ft/lbs of torque.
The motor comes with the fly wheel.
I dont have any pictures because my scanner is broke.
I would meet you half way, but you are in IRAQ.

I was looking for a set of aluminum heads. I would prefer the edelbrock heads. I will probably get there new performer heads with the 60cc combustion chambers and 87 and earlier style heads with centerbolt valve covers.
I would also partial trade for a edelbrock torquer single plane manifold.

I could throw in the passenger side stock exhuast manifold if you would like to sell the turbo later.

The blue hose hooked to the Oil fill was replaced by a stainless braided hose to withstand the heat of the turbo exhaust housing, I also replaced the block heater.

In case you didnt know, the motor is in the truck, the pictures are of the day I installed it. The truck is just sitting on the side of my dads shop and I have a another vehicle I am driving.:truck:
