Turbonator...

It seems like everyone is coming out with one of those. I have seen several of those advertised and I personally don't know if they work. I went to a website for one of them and it said something to the effect of "use up to 3 (insert product name) for maximum results". I was kind of leary after that. I think they were turbonators, but they were a different design than the one that you are looking at. Not much help, I know. But you could be the guinea pig for the rest of us

they always seem to advertise that it swirls the air around for better performance, but the way i see if, maybe it does, but the air STILL gets disrupted when it travels down through the intake runners and into the cylinder..kills that "swirling motion" ..so in my opinion, they are worthless.

And if you call right now, we'll include FIVE more turbonators for FREE....you just pay a small shipping and handling charge.

WORTHLESS!

Yep. The air/fuel may get mixed a little better but the disruption it makes in the intake counteracts any gains.

about like the "electric superchargers" :haha:

The one electric supercharger i found on ebay claimed to flow 200 CFM. Most engines pull much more than that (at 1.5" Hg). That means that your motor will actually have to force the fan to exceed its maximum speed. Not only will this take a bunch of power, but spinning the fan faster than it is intended to could make it destroy itself and head down the intake. Bye bye motor. :doah:

At least the vortex thing won't do that :haha:

In my opinion, is another brake for air... so, first of all... bye-bye fuel...
I'm really curious, if someone use it and see any kind of difference... especially a good one... because is not sell with 10 gallons of fuel... :D

There are legitimate electric supercharger out there. They aren't the ones on ebay though and (surprise) they aren't cheap.
