anyone have one how well do thay work?
A TrueTrac? They are a limited slip diff. If you are looking for offroad performance lockers are king. Limited slips are ok for daily drivers & trucks that only see fireroads but for real traction you want lockers. Limited slips often become unlimited slips offroad.
I had one once...
it crapped it's pants.... fell apart.... destroyed the r&p gear....
get a lockright, detroit (or if you have the money an ARB air locker).
My experience with the the True Trac is that it was just like my marriage...
at first everything was tight and it felt good... then it all fell apart.... mostly because I destroyed it and mostly because it didn't perform
