Found Turn-of-the-Century-ish Truck

My boy turns 15 in October, and in this state he can get his driving permit at age 15-1/2...so I'm on the hunt.

1) While I already have plenty of old stuff, my wife's requirement (which I appreciate) is that it must have airbags. Those became mandatory in 1998.

2&3) I want it to have a manual transmission and 4WD.

Jap Traps are not only in consideration, but actually have preference points. I am in SoCal, but willing to travel for the right deal.

Interestingly, Frontiers and Tacos are not on the recall list at all. There are, however, a whole bunch of Chevys on the list - pretty much all GM pickups and SUVs from '07-'14.
