turn signal, high beam, wiper switch broken in colum?

Hey guys,

I have been looking for a thread on the removal and replacement of this door everything switch. My truck is a 1984 m1009 blazer. I cant seem to get the section with the ignition cylinder and do everything switch off off the rest of the colum. I think i need to get the plastic cover plate off the back of the do everything swith to remove it. Is there a thread with photos? Can anybody shed some light?

I just did this about 2 months back. It's a real pain. I would have been easier to simply swap the whole column. Sorry I didnt take any pics.

Did you get the steering wheel removal set from your local Autozone? You'll need to depress that metal plate behind the steering wheel before you cant get to the switch itself.

Try HERE. I did a writeup a while ago about tightening the tilt wheel and you had to take the switch out to get to the screws. And WELCOME TO CK5!!!
