Hi all,
Looking for some help with and issue I've run in to. I have a 71 gmc 1 ton and I replaced both flashers for the hazards and turn signals. the 4 ways work but the turn signals do not. I've flip flopped the flashers and both work in the 4 way. I pulled the flasher for the turn signal and jump the signal location and select direction and I can get the bulbs to illuminate. But when I put the flasher back in they dont work. Any helpful insight is appreciated.

Have you checked them? Lol.

Last issue I had with a square body on turn signals, sounded a lot like what you have going on. Lights came on, but didn't flash, 4 way worked, and it was a bad ground behind the drivers side light.

No idea why that would do it. But that's what fixed it :dunno:
That's why I say it's worth a check

Every time that issue happened with me it was a bad ground somewhere in the lights harness.
The fact that lights work, and they flash on 4 ways means that the parts are all working but the ground can back feed through other spots when in 4 ways, but when in turn signal mode they are isolated
