Turn Signal Lever / Cruise or No Cruise

I have a 1991 V3500 that needs a turn signal lever. My truck came with Cruise Control, but I removed it, in order to make room for a fuel pressure regulator and gauge. The turn signal lever with Cruise Control is $65, but the one with out Cruise Control is only $15. Will the turn signal lever with out Cruise Control work?
