Sup guys, my 86 k5 has a very strange electrical issue. Both my turn signals flash when I turn on my left signal. All my headlights tail lights and turnsignals are leds I did replace the flasher under the dash for led acceptable flashers. Just wanted to ask if you guys had any idea. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Huge led light thread i did in garage section with lots of info . The fender side 194 need to be special polarity sensitive or it wont work 1 way or other i know .

The fender lights are led based turn signals. They are pre-wired. No acual bulbs. I'll look though your thread.

If all the trun lamps blink when the left is selected, either the turn switch, is fubar and shorting in the column, or the left side has found a path to right side ground. Investigate the left side grounds

Thanks guys for responding, I've figured it out the p.o swapped out the front turnsignal bulb connectors and wired them incorrectly. Now everything works as it should except now my stops or turns won't with my headlights on if they are off everything is gravy. Ideas?

I don't know about brakes, they shouldn't be affected by the polarity issues, but the front and side running lights/markers/signals will absolutely fail to work properly if the LED's are polarity specific and headlights are on or off.

Did the LED's you used specifically state they work with GM's wiring design of this vintage?

Last I had checked, the LED bulbs required to work properly in those positions were over $25 each.
