'88 Jimmy---How does the turn-signal lever come out? Sorry, this isn't a tough rock-crawler type question:crazy: this is for my 452,000 mile daily driver. My mechanical skills are limited, is this something an amateur could attempt?
Thanks,
James

I've got to do mine on my '91. As far as I can see you've just got to remove the steering wheel, then depress the spring plate, remove the spring clip and start digging downwards until you hit the switch!

its rather deep in there but if you take your time and remember where the parts go youll do fine you should however invest in some specialty tools

452,000 mile daily driver" Wow, what is it?

I bought my Jimmy new in early 1988. I have driven it 25-30 thousand miles per year ever since.:D
James
