Just replaced the little plastic turn signal cam inside the steering column in my 72 GMC as the old one cracked. Blinkers were working fine, but every time I turned left the horn was honking for a couple days.
Anyway, thought I did a pretty good job and took my time, checked to make sure all the lights were blinking like they were supposed to before I put the steering wheel back on. But after I put the wheel on, my driver side, rear turn signal and brake light's not working. Front signal is flashing fine and tail light works fine.
Tried 2 new bulbs and also checked the little relay on the fuse panel, all ok. Don't have a test light or meter with me, nor all day to spend dicking with it. I'd think the socket would be the next logical place, it just seems an odd coincidence that it quit after I fixed the broken cam in the steering column.
Any ideas?
