ok guys yall have helped me before and I need help again-
I have been blowing turn signal and harzed fuses on my 1986 Jimmy. I think I found the problem a old traler light harness that I just shoved by the bumper w/ exposed wire.So I taped the wire. I am not sure this fixed the problem but so far so good.

My problem now is when I push the turn signel left my front blinker blinks left but both rear signal blink; same w/ the other side.

I dont no where to go from here; my book doen't help any. any help would be great-------thanks Jeff

you have corrected the short in the trailer harness by getting it off of the frame/bumper but now you have bare wires touching each other inside the tape causing the mixed signal..... my guess

Jeff it sounds like you are getting a feed back in the taped wires. When you taped them did you tape each end separately> If not re tape them individually and then as a group. If that does not apply then you have another wire crossed in the turn signal system.

HILARIOUS JOKES AND HUMOR ARCHIVES

Linda meets up with her friend Jill as she is picking her car up from the mechanic.

"Everything ok with your car now?" Linda asked.
"Yes, thank goodness," Jill replied. "I was worried that my mechanic might try to rip me off, so I was relieved when he told me all I needed was blinker fluid."

Then you have another wire crossed in the turn signal system. You will have to track it down.
