Turning Issues

I think I ran Trusty off after all this lol, anyone else know if my thinking is correct on the steering, and does anyone know about the steering arms?

Sorry man, I had a BB-Q at the in laws I had to go to.

Your thinking is pretty much right on. The direction of force when trying to steer with push-pull steering can and does rotate the axle on the springs. The softer the spring and the taller the lift the more noticable it is.

Crossover sends the steering input forces the other way...

Sky's stuff looks good, I'm thinking the tall arm would be for better clearance over top of the spring with a thick leaf pack and possibly a zero-rate. You could get that cleared up when you order though.

Just to update this thread, I got the sky mfg kit with the keyed arm, installed it this weekend and wow.....what took turning the wheel all the way to lock before now gets done in 3/4 of a turn of the wheel, difference is amazing. Also props to Sky Mfg, kit fit perfect with everything I needed and they had pretty quick turnaround on the knuckle machining.

point of this thread, if you cant turn in less than the length of a battleship, suck it up and put on crossover.

Glad you got it done Chris...X-over is definitely an amazing difference over stock!
