I think its a pretty common thing, Ive had it happen once.

You really do need to set the cable, fortunately its easy. There are lots of places here that tell how.
Basically you just want to have the cable bottom out when the throttle is all the way as far as it will go.
The idea is to have the cable move as soon as the throttle does so the transmission can increase pressure to the clutches to allow for the coming load increase.
Now, maybe this darn thread will scroll off the board.
I do a lot of electronic work, and every time I see the title I think someone needs advice on Coax..........
