TV cable/TBI Spacer

I recently installed a TBI spacer from CFM technologies. I have a 700r4 (with 155K on it...). After installation, the 1-2 shift got really rough, to the point where I have to let off the gas just before the shift to try to get something anywhere close to a smooth shift. I started looking into it, and based off some reading I've done, I think I just need to adjust the TV cable. Problem is, everyone says to adjust it, no one says how to adjust it. With the tranny having as many miles on it as it does, I'd really like to get this figured out so I'm not putting any unnecessary stress on it. Does anyone know a link to a step-by-step of how to adjust the TV cable, or can someone write one here? I get the feeling it isn't very hard, but at the same time I want to make sure I do it right.

You can also raise the cable bracket an equal amount as the spacer to restore the geometry .
