Hey guys, i was just wondering wether anyone is running twin shocks if so is there any real differnce with them and is it possible to make up brackets to mount them ? Any close up pics would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'll get some pics today. I never had the Jimmy with singles so I can't tell you about any differences. I can try to show you the setup though.

Had my K-5 both ways and if you have a descent shock there is no need to run twice as many.
That's just something that was done in the late 70's because their wasn't much of a choice.

a lot of people say what buefchris did, and he's right in most cases, and i did prefer only two when it was stock. but i run 4 rs500s up front now the reason is that i removed my sway bar and pulled the bottom leaf out of my lift spring packs so running 4 shocks allows the flex i want while still providing good ride and control. with just two up front it was great offroad but got a little too bouncy on the street.

plus it looks cooler :wink1:

These days with so many manufactures out there one could run a pair of shocks up front and back to suit anyone's needs.
I run Fox 2.0 all the way around because they can be set to any firmness I need. And the extra nitrogen reservoir keeps the shafts from getting too hot and bluing
Plus, if by chance I happen to loose a seal, bend a shaft, rupture a line, all these parts can be replaced for a lot less than buying a whole new sealed, non-adjustable pair of shocks.
Yes, your initial cost would be more but not buy much considering the benefits.
Of course 80's bling is cool too:rolleyes:.
