I went to replace a hub on my 14B FF, and realized the replacement is different?

Is this a difference in years? My original hub is the one on the right.

The hub on the left is the newer type for the IFS trucks. These kinds of hubs have the drum sliding over them and are held in place by the wheels themselves. Unlike the older ones, like yours on the right, which are held by studs while the drum is located on the back of the hub. The left hand side hub is anywhere from '88 on up on the K-series, not V-series, of the newer body style IFS vehicles. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yes, if you can find any 14FF from '87 and older....

OR....

....if you can find any 14FF from any 1 ton truck from '91 and older, ONLY IF, its the old body style like our rigs. In other words, the '87 to '91 are the V-series trucks and these will work just fine. Just stay away from the '88 and newer K-series trucks as those are the IFS. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
