Two incredibly useful things to think about buying

I have both the owners and GM tech service manual for My K5. The orginal owner gave then to me when I bougt the truck from him. Along with all service records. Kinda cool to have all that documentation.

MY 1972 chevelle still had the instructions to use the seatbelt on the driver's side visor. It's a little paper donut that slips over the shade, and was 32 years young when I sold it, with original papers. Out of the 6 vehicles that I've ever owned, my 1989 suburban didn't have the book. My 1990 jimmy came with a folder of receipts and printouts from various shops. Got my alternator replaced 4 years after install, cuz I found the receipt :-)
