The black one is a '84 with a 350 that has a electrical issue along with a couple other headaches
The black and red one is '87 from down south and great body but the guy butchered the motor. Honestly I got boned on this one, but oh well.

'84 has:
350 / Turbo 350 / NP208

'87 has:
350 / 700R4 / NP 208

I am doing one of the two for my daughter - likely the black one and the other will be my toy.

Eh, from my experience anything with wheels is a money pit... slightly less-so than a boat but still worth the cost/frustration if you enjoy it:thumb: Glad you're getting some time with your daughter. That right there makes it worth every penny.

No doubt.

Other money pits are my bikes and guns.

The '84 had a motor installed in it back 15 years ago before it getting put in a garage. After completing the motor install they couldn't get it to start. Turn the key and nothing would happen. Hook it up live and it would start.

Got the '84 (black one) running today. Man, no wonder why he couldn't get it running. Valves adjusted super tight, one jet clogged, and distributor set off by 180. Transmission is not good. Oh well, time to mess with it, I guess. :dunno:

Pulled the whole front clip on it. Funny thing is it was missing both front body mounts.
