I am looking around for paint for my jimmy and need some help. I am wanting to paint it flat OD green, or maybe a marsh grass color. I dont want to rattle can it. I have found duck boat paint, but dont know how it is with steel. I have used hunters specialties on my boat, but its not that great of a paint. Anyone have any ideas, on where to find a flat paint in gallon sizes? Also, what about this no slip boat coating, is there a difference in aluminum and steel as far as adhesion goes?

Hmmm. Maybe a company like Rustoleum has something in cans you can thin and spray?? Or cheaper hardware store brands?

Just head to anywhere that has an automotive paint mixing station. They should have everything they need to mix a flat OD.

You can buy government CARC in OD, but I think it requires a specific primer, and good luck getting anyone to spray the stuff.
