Hey everyone, doing the 3/4 ton conversion on my 76 K5. I am needing to know what ubolt length to get to for it. 14ff in rear and Dana 44 up front.

On a side note, anyone used the Stage 8 X lock on the front? Comments on it.

Thanks

There are a lot of variables for this. Best thing you can do is measure your axle tube and perch height, then add in your spring pack thickness and a couple inches on top of that for sticking thru the spring plate and acceptance of the nut and there you go.

heck, it could have blocks for all we know...

It is a Skyjacker 6" with blocks in the rear. So if I measure my current 12 bolt should that do the same trick as measuring original on 14 and adding, all ready have them out of the donor and rebuilding.
