u bolt size

does any one know the inside diameter and bolt size ( 9/16 etc. )for u bolts on a 14 SF rear and 10 bolt front. i believe it's a 7/16 bolt with an inside diameter of 3 1/4 " for the rear and 7/16 bolt with a 3" diameter for the front.
just looking to double check.

the front is 5/8" with 3 of the u bolts being 3" diameter and the other one being 3.5" diameter.

Actually, the 14FF and SF tubes are closer to 3 3/8" diameter.

upgrade all to 5/8. your better off. better strength rod.

i went to the spring shop the other day and they said they couldnt do 3 3/8"... only 3 1/4 or 3 1/2

I bought some last week for a 14ff. They were 5/8 by 3 1/2 I.D

thay just dont want to spend 100 bucks on a new die to bend them.

well yea, but should i look elsewhere for some or is one of the available choices acceptable?

90% get away with the 3.5. but make sure you tighten the he!! out of the nuts and recheck the nuts at least 1 time. when you run the nut down it will pull the ubolt up as close as possible.

if you are a perfectionest. get the 3 3/8 bend.
