im putting 3/4ton axles in my truck, and i know what size u-bolts i need for the rear 14ff, so would the front u-bolts be the same as the rear or no? cuz i plan on getting them tomorrow.

the fronts are not the same. odds are you can just use your stock bolts for the front end unless you're doing a lift b/c it's a 1/2 ton front end - but that depends on the year of the truck you're getting the gear from. check out this link - i asked the same question some time back, and the responses i got were accurate. http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=155145&page=2 hope it helps!

1/2 ton ubolts are the same a 3/4ton u bolts fo rthe front. and actually they work on the left side of the d60 as well. the right side is alot bigger tho, and has the studs too

What year is the truck. Ive had experiences where older front axles and newer front axles had different size tubes and the u bolts wouldnt swap. Im talking like 73 vs. late 70's. Seen it on 1/2 and 3/4 ton.
