anyone know a napa part number for 14 bolt u bolts..talked to kert and my local spring shop and not to say they are redicously priced just wondering if this is something they stock at the parts store

I doubt they carry them at the part store. I think I payed around 8$ a piece from the 4x4 shop about 5 years ago.

i priced them at 1 shop in town. 4 rear 14ff ubolts 12" legs with nuts and washers 65 bucks. :eek1:

went to see friend at other shop in town he was 2 bucks less per ubolt. but he then said how about 40 bucks for all 4 with nuts and washers. that was the good friend price tho.

so yep thay have gone up a lot. and i would not run the cheep help section type ubolts . pay the few more bucks and get the good stuff .

and by the way the prices i listed were 5/8 rod size. not 9/16 smaller stock stuff.

I called Rough Country when I put the lift on my '75 Sub, it came off of a 1/2 ton. They sold me bolts, nuts, and washers for $45 shipped. That was 14" u bolts (from top of threads to bottom of bend) for a 14bff.

I just paid $45 for 4-5/8, 12" long, nuts and washers at the local parts store. I thought that was quite reasonable!

I had to get longer ones about a year ago and they were 11 or 12 bucks a piece from the local spring shop.

I'm with the others on the price. I've bought quite a few in the past and the average cost for rear 14FF u-bolts was always around or in the $40 range.

Sounds about right Jay, prices have gone up. I paid a little over $100 a month ago for Ubolts/Nuts/Washers for both axles down at Thurston

I must be lucky, or you guys are getting screwed. Last time I bought 8 u-bolts it came to $55. 5/8 rod, nuts and washers. This was for a 85 K20 with a 4" block in back. Bought them about 2 months ago form the local spring shop.

u bolts..

i went to the local spring shop called suspention repair 3 miles away, in the summer and bought 4 u bolts with tall nuts(for 4inch blocks) for 30 bucks. he made them in like ten min....

About ubolts.

There is grade 2, grade 5 and grade 8 readily available.

Cut threads and rolled threads.

These things will effect price so just be careful when you shop for the cheapest price. You don't want to end up with something that won't do the job.

And for those wanting to know or not knowing, a rolled thread is MUCH stronger than a cut thread.
