cheep quality lift kit ubolts come coated in like a anidize or something coating .
good ubolts come raw steel .

I just don't want a bright silver zinc coating
my point was cheep stuff comes painted / coated in some way to look better.
your going to have to just paint them your self .
scuff them up good and prime/paint them . but when you tighten them don't be surprised if paint starts to pop off as there a stretch bolt.

Perfect I'll go order them. Any recommendation using 5/8 vs 9/16 with factory top mounts?
I'd just get whatever fits the ubolt plates.

5/8" has more clamping force and will fit in the stock plate holes.
