U-Haul auto transport

i wanted to wheel my truck this weekend but didnt want to drive it, i got a new tow rig but no trailer, u haul has these but they are rated at 4000 pounds

they have dual axles, would it be able to handle my 3 ton blazer?

55-60 MPH - no problem. Get the insurance.

i used one one time with 1/2 ton axles and 35" tires. tight squeaze but yes it works. 55-60 kind of twitchy to my but i was pullin with 2x4 3/4 ton .

make sure to tell them your pulling a honda when you rent it..... they wont rent it knowing what your gonna put on it.

30-40 miles up and down some steep hills. i liked the surge brakes the best i think.

I went about 65 miles. No problem. I also told them that I was putting a full size Chevy 4x4 on it and they insisted that it would fit. I suppose that it did, but 2 more inches of wheel base would have been trouble.

I'm glad I saw this post, I am going weekend after easter to pick up a blazer from PA. I have been trying to figure out a trailer for it! How hard would it be to get a vehicle onto one of those trailers that has no engine/trans, could 4 people push it on? Thanx!

Inspect the trailer well before you pick it up. If the tires look questionable or something isn't right make them find you another one. Uhaul stuff is well known for crappy maintanence & if something brakes on the road dealing with there customer service center will be a joy.

The trailer will most likely not come with a spare tire so if the tires look questionable pass it and get another one.
