There used to be a step by step instruction page on pirate that lance did that had some great pics. Anyone have a guide with pics so i can take out my stock u-joints and replace them with 5-760x joints and full circle clips? Any help would be much appreciated.

easiest way to remove is to just torch it then beat the caps out with a ball peen hammer, install works good with a vise, put one cap in one side with the lockin clip and make sure fully seated then put joint in the put other cap in and make sure needles stay in place, then tap cap in and put clip in, farely easy, might have to beat on ears a little to spread them apart to get last clip in good luck

my weapon of choice is a reciprocating saw, in the absence of a proper u-joint press. chop the cross and tap the caps out. of course, i'd use the saw to spread butter if it wouldn't offend fellow diners. i love that thing and don't get to use it enough.
