U-joint issue

I put a 14BFF in the rear of my 85 K10 pickup. I used the conversion joint everyone gets from napa. Well, it went into the driveshaft fine. And I got new straps for the 14BFF. Well, if you look at the yoke of the axle and the straps you can see daylight all the way around. What did I do wrong? wrong joint or wrong straps? Any help appreciated. part number 447 is what i used.

did you have a 10 bolt or a 12 bolt originally? I had a 12 bolt and when i went to a 14 bolt. I used new Napa # 240-0358 conversion u-joint

it was a 10bolt. I know there is 2 conversion joints,,, 12B and 10B

what is 448 for? napaonline shows a 447 and 448...

im gonna get pictures now. I know there is people out here that have done the swap and it fit!!! did i get the right joint???
